The Surf City Paddle Run is a biathlon that starts with a 5k paddle board race and transitions to a 5k run. The race is the two events combined, which are run concurrently, no stop between. When you finish the paddle, you put your board on the grass and begin your run. There is also an option to only do the 5k run/walk portion.
